I am concerned about the lack of democratic representation in the new Auckland Council structure; in particular I am concerned about the powers of the new ‘Council Controlled Organisations’, and the lack of youth representation. |
Environment |
We need to work together to protect our local environment. The new laws removing blanket protection of trees under the RMA are threatening our local bush reserves and coastal pohutukawa. |
Public Transport |
I believe that the key to encouraging more people to use public transport is to provide cheaper, more frequent public transport to a wider variety of destinations. |
